Daily Thought from The Saints
“All the science of the saints is included in these two things: to do, and to suffer. And whoever has done these two things best, has made himself most saintly.”
— Saint Francis De Sales
Daily Scripture Verse
“Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; yet the word you hear is not mine but that of the Father who sent me.”
John 14:23-24
Daily Meditation
“By accepting the sufferings offered by life and allowed by God for our progress and purification, we spare ourselves much harder ones. We need to develop this kind of realism and, once and for all, stop dreaming of a life without suffering or conflict. That is the life of heaven, not Earth. We must take up our cross and follow Christ courageously every day; the bitterness of that Cross will soon or later be transformed into sweetness.”
— Fr. Jacques Philippe
Daily Catholic Wisdom
Home is where body and soul are nourished, protected, comforted, and known. We long for a beautiful home because we long for a beautiful life.

A Prayer from Notre Dame University
Rev. Jarrod Waugh, C.S.C.
Jesus Christ is Lord. This is our profession, but we can struggle to live it out. By God’s grace, we can continue giving over every part of our lives and ourselves into Christ’s hands. As the Constitutions of Holy Cross state, “There is no failure the Lord’s love cannot reverse, no humiliation he cannot exchange for blessing, no anger he cannot dissolve, no routine he cannot transfigure. All is swallowed up in victory.” Jesus, do not relent until every part of us proclaims your name. Amen.
